Astrology is the ancient practice where art and science meet in a cauldron of psychological, spiritual, and behavioral awareness. There is an inherent thread within astrology that weaves our existence on planet Earth into everything around us: we are, in fact, connected to all things, including the Cosmos.

There comes a point for many of us, hopefully, when we enter into the study of ourselves as a means of finding deeper connection and greater meaning in our lives. Astrology, as a tool, can give us more than we might ever have imagined. Indeed, it can be read as a blueprint of our psyches, our behaviors, our spirituality, or our very Soul’s intent. It can even lead us through the process of our own Awakening. Astrology as a vehicle of Gnosis—who knew?!

To be human is to struggle. But it is also to liberate, to awaken, to free ourselves from our own suffering: enter free will. We can move from the stagnant or “fated” places within our own hero/heroine's journey, if only we choose to do so. This is the place of conscious exploration, where the language of the skies can offer a symbolic architecture that illuminates the precise frictions and tensions that shape a human life...and propel each of us into greater awareness.

I approach astrology as a means of inner coherence. We may have inherited or developed behavioral patterns and personality traits that inform our lived experience—or vice versa. Astrology offers a means of understanding, accepting, and integrating these patterns, and ultimately liberating ourselves from what we perceive to be fixed circumstances. The moment we decide to breathe more conscious awareness into our lived experiences is the moment our lives can be transformed forever.

My work is grounded in the idea that we are all connected, and that although our paths may have textural differences, beneath our constructed egoic forms we essentially strive for the same things: love, acceptance, connection, compassion, empathy, meaning, and awe. We seek to understand our place within the greater Universe, and throughout human experience have created many paths, practices, and cosmologies through which to do exactly that.

I work in a way that is psychologically and trauma-informed, spiritually fluent, compassionate, and supportive. I find this work especially helpful for those who have recently undergone a dark night of the soul, an Awakening experience, existential expansion, relational unraveling - or raveling! - life transformation, or simply one of those moments when the old story no longer holds true. My work is equally open to all genders and sexual orientations. All are welcome here.

I studied History, Government, and Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, where I worked alongside psychologists and historians of post-colonial Africa before dedicating myself fully to astrological study. I have practiced astrology professionally for over a decade, with immersive study spanning Therapeutic and Evolutionary Astrology, Esoteric Astrology, Relationship Astrology, and Shamanic lineages.

My work is further informed by training in herbalism, yoga, birth and postpartum care, as well as a long-standing, ongoing ceremonial practice. I have studied across many wisdom lineages and hold a deep commitment to the healing of our communities and lineages in service of greater harmony within the world.

I live with my family in the Boulder Valley of Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Front Range, traditional territory of the Arapaho and Ute peoples, where daily life, my three sons, and my life partner continue to be my greatest teachers.
